We have been having the exact same problems as another reviewer. Our heater will not shut off and our apartment is leaking in two of four rooms, with the other two threatening leaks with water being retained only by ceiling paint. We have used 6 pots and two buckets to catch the dripping water and have covered all of our living room furniture with plastic tarps. Both maintenance and resident relations initial response was, verbatim, "If we move you because of leaks, we have to move everyone whose apartment is leaking." We have gotten no response since then, despite multiple calls to both Resident Relations, Maintenance, and the General Manager of the property. California Civil Code , however, defines an apartment uninhabitable if it "substantially lacks...effective waterproofing and weather protection of roof and exterior walls..."
I would not recommend this property to anyone.
