I moved up here in early January and have had nothing but problems. Before we moved in there was paint peeling off the ceiling in our bedroom that was there to greet us upon arrival. We have called 5 times and so far nothing has happened. Its near May now and theres still a huge hole dead center of our bedroom ceiling. Soon after we moved in they decided to remodel the lobby. They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks and its been way longer. I live on the bottom floor so drilling is what I wake up to every single day of the week. The entire place shakes from 8 to 4. Today we got a notice on our door saying that the lobby construction is almost done...so now their going to start installing new power generators and by the way this is going to take 6 to 8 weeks with insane drilling nonstop. If I had known that they were going to be shaking my apartment the entire time I was living here and not fixing the holes in the ceiling, the bathroom doors that wont latch closed, or the car crash sized dent in my kitchen cabnets then theres no way I would have ever moved here. On top of that theres a lot of college kids on the higher floors that throw glass bottles and trash out there windows almost constantly. This place is bad news and I highly suggest not living here...ever.

It is a pity that new tenants do not check the web to read about living in Parkmerced until after they've signed the lease. Parkmerced is in business to make money. If they have an excessive amount of empty apartments, like any other business they will have to effect some changes, especially those with negative information about living there.29% approval rating is STILL "approval". If there were more such letters of complaints and their approval would go down to "0" approval, I am sure services would increase. Complaints are usually from tenant to tenant and not tenant to landlord/Rent Board/Supervisors etc. Make your voices heard.
