I would not recommend this place to anyone. I thought it was good in the beginning being so close to school, but the longer I lived there the worse it got. It's so noisy all the time, especially on the weekends starting on Thursdays because people are partying and yelling. Fireworks were randomly set off all the time. The walls are very thin you can hear people yelling and fighting, kids crying, footsteps, etc. Because it was so noisy all the time, I had to start wearing ear plugs to bed, just to be able to sleep. The fire alarms were always set off and the alarms in the apartment are extremely loud. The elevators would randomly stop working and since you couldn't get in to the stairs without courtesy patrol unlocking the doors, you would have to sit in the lobby waiting forever. It was a pain doing laundry in the basement because there were not enough washers and dryers and some of them were never working, which added to the wait. Parking is terrible it's so hard to find a spot so you have to drive around and around looking. Lastly, I moved out 3 months ago and I still haven't received my rent deposit even though I have gone to the leasing office and called a million times, but they are unreliable and don't respond. I don't recommend this place to anyone, definitely not that this has happened!!!

the problem with your review is that you still gave them 3s for construction (when you say the walls are thin), maintenance (when you say washers/dryers, elevators are not working and office staff (when you say they are unreliable). I think your rating is too generous for a completely screwed up organization.

Please Stay Away from Parkmerced....unless you are into pain and punishment. Don't do it or you will be in big trouble....this place is a mess and management really sucks!
