The management of this building are SCANDALOUS. Upon moveout you will be charged for painting and carpeting even though upon your move in, the carpet was not new and you have lived there 5 years. California law states that you are not required to repaint a tenancy when you have resided for 5 years. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $ 800 to repaint a studio, $ 180 to clean a light fixture that only their maintenance crew can reach and remove, $120 cleaning for venetian blinds that you had professionally cleaned yourself for $ 80 and provided them with the invoice. You will then find out that they actually removed the blinds and installed vertical drapes to the entire building.

Management deducted $ 1,000 from my deposit for a studio that was cleaner than when I moved in. They charged me for carpet stains that were documented to have occured due to their toilet malfunctioning and overflowing.

DONT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING.
