101 San Fernando is not for everyone. The management is horrible (and dumb), scuzzy tenants trashes the place and does not respect others, bad air, bad water (the water quality in downtown is so poor that it will start crystalizing once it sets after some time- I have a hellueva time cleaning the shower door for this reason) and most importantly, I do not feel safe in this complex because of drug deals, prostituion and such. I sometimes symphasize that these people gotta make a living but what bothers me the most is the kind of people they lure into this complex because of what they do. It is worthwhile to mention that I've seen police being called many times on this premise.

When I first moved in, I was excited to live in downtown. It was right across from my school and I couldn't ask for more. That all changed when they took my parking space. My roomate and I have to fight for the existing spot. This is completely unjust because I wouldn't have leased this place in the first place if this was the case. The entire management never had a good convincing explanation for this - because they never had any. They are crooks.

On many nights, I can hear people constantly scream as loud as they can from drinking.

The San Jose city hall across is adding several stories so the hammering and construction noise will also wake you early.

Nobody likes paying for AC that can rack up more than $100 during summer, but you sometimes have to. It feels like being in an oven, and you can't open the windows at night or the outside noise will wake you extra early.

The entire management is so incompetant that I don't feel even feel like dealing with them because it will be waste of my breath. I'm out of here once my lease is over. Simple as that. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazingly enough, I think it's true that manager (and possibly the entire staff)don't seem to have a computer in their office. Management staffs' busines cards don't even indicate their email address, so I figured.
