What overcharging of "bills" are you talking about' There is just one bill and it is called rent. Hopefully you were smart enough to sign a lease and have a fixed monthly rent.
And the place is not a dump. If you are used to a penthouse apartment on Santana Row, then well, I can see your disappointment. The word "downgrade" may be more appropriate. Things seem to be well-maintained. I think it is very clean.
And they cannot keep your deposit for "several months." There are laws for that. Exaggeration, anyone'
You know what I think' I think the same person - or maybe the same small group - is posting these negative reviews over and over. You use the same phrases ("overcharging of bills," "rotten" staff, etc). So you had a bad experience - I don't know what happened. But if you have moved out and are still posting on this site then, well, something is not quite right with you.
I was nervous about moving here. But things are going great so far. And I have nothing to gain from posting here - I just feel badly about how poorly the apartment has been represented here.
The other tenants here seem happy. We've talked to people on the elevators (people asked us if they could help us when we were moving in) - and we even asked a couple of people leaving the complex how they liked it before moving in. They were all young professionals or students who enjoy living here.
There is another side. And maybe we've just gotten extraordinarily lucky with our apartment and with the encounters we've had with the staff. We'll see. I'll be the first to admit it if I'm wrong.

I have moved into the apartments 4 months back and find that the management is really not cooperative. While I am fortunate not to have any particular issue the kind of responses they give is not acceptable. I wonder if you really were or are a tenant. Are you? Come on spit out the truth....
