101 is in a very good location downtown SJ. Nice apartments, grounds generally well kept.

1. Maintenance is poor - I had a leak in my apartment which took several calls to fix. My dishwasher is broke after several calls and claims that it was fixed. The elevator constantly has problems. Exercise equipment stays broken for weeks (one treadmill has been broke for 4 months). Garage door has also been broken for several weeks.
2. If somebody parks in your space, they don't do anything about it. For days.
3. Noise complaints result in no action.
4. Office staff is generally friendly but if you ask them to do anything, nothing get done. They'll appologize time after time and promise it'll get done the next time.
5. If you do talk to the staff, drop off rent checks, get it in writing/receipts/etc. They'll charge you out the wazoo for their mistakes and weird policies that isn't documented - this happened to me and to several residents I know.
6. Apartment was not cleaned when I moved in and I'm curious to see what happens to my deposit when I move out.
7. While it's not directly their issue, my ISP service goes out every few months and I can't get anything done to figure out what the problem is / fix it.

In summary, nice on the surface but rotten core - every day, they wipe down the elevators and clean the public areas that potential residents see. But things that they don't see (garage lights being out, elevators not working, etc.), they don't do anything about. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
