I HATE this apartment

The only goal of the management team here is to extract more $$ out of you. I lived in the place 6 months, was traveling most of the time, and they charged me for a complete repaint of the apartment. I was barely there! Have no doubt, they will find some excuse to get all of your deposit.
They also were having trouble getting people in, so they started letting bunches of college students rent a single apartment. I had about 5 of them living in a one bedroom a few doors down - surprise, surprise, they were always partying and the hall turned into some kind of party dorm. I called a number of times but management did nothing to stop the noise.
They also charge $100 to let you back into your apartment if you lock yourself out. This is great, because the doors are spring loaded and they slam closed behind you. This happened to me 3 times. The maint guy said he has between 3-5 calls a night to let people back in - at $100 a pop that is around $10K a month! RIDICULOUS
The mechanism on my door broke twice, and both time it took a number of hours to get the maint guy there to let me in. Do you think they let me charge THEM $100' Hell no.
When your lease is up, they will try and gouge you for an extra few hundred dollars, or force you into a longer lease.
Total -------, avoid them.
