Going down hill

I was a tenant from 1990 up to 2000. It was a great place to live and the landlords were very strict - about noise levels, appearances of patios, etc....while that can get old - it was still nice to feel like you lived in a well kept and safe community. That mentality started changing before I moved out - asking the managers to fix anything - you were made to feel like everything was a total inconvenience....plus there high turnover of the managers now. I still have friends that live in the complex that I visit frequently. They've complained of the rental rules being extremely bent lately, such as allowing multiple, multiple people living in one apartment, and the riff raff from next door's Canoas garden complex wafting through the complex periodically and auto break ins. Additionally the mailboxes are centrally located and won't necessarily be close by your apartment unit - so if you're getting your mail late at night - take your pepper spray with you. Plus when I go to visit - there is no place to park! You have to have a permit-you can't park on the street - per the city! I had thought of moving back to the complex but think I'll pass - this place is going to be another Canoas Garden apartment complex soon. Go check out similiar apartments on Cherry Avenue instead.
