We lived at the community for a year. The apartment has great features and the grounds look nice. We loved the washer in dryer in the apartment and the newer more modern look.

The pool is filthy in the summer. They really need to clean it more than once a week.

The pedestrian gate next to our apartment was broken on and off the entire year we lived at Archstone so often we had to walk through the main auto gate (which I was pregnant for half of our stay and had an infant for the other half-not so safe to walk with the cars). We called all the time to get it fixed! Pain!!

They raised our rent significantly once our lease expired (which is why we moved). We put down a $100 deposit which made me fear we would owe them money since the deposit is so small but we did not owe them anything. So that was great.

I did question the size of some of the dogs in the pet building. Seems like a violation to the rule to have a full size boxer in an apartment.

Overall - mixed rating - good and bad but one of my better apartment experiences.
