I was hesitant to sign my lease due to all the negative reviews I saw here. But the grounds were beautiful and the apartment had everything I wanted. A garage, washer/dryer, gas range, large bathroom and bedroom, and open floor plan. We have the 808 SF 1BD/1BA. For the most part, I really like it here. When our friends come to stay, they think it is like a resort. The pool is always clean, though busy when it's hot. Lots of kids, but this is an apartment! What do you expect' Your own private pool' Whenever we put in a service request (easily done online), we usually have someone come the same day and fix it. We love our maintenance guys, Mike & Elton. They take care of us! A couple of problems: we had some of our Halloween pumpkins stolen, but we caught the kids that did it and they gave them back. And we had our door mat stolen, which was really disappointing. So don't put anything out on your front door area if you really want to keep it. If you want a garage or carport, get it when you sign your lease. They will put you ahead of current tenants waiting for one to make sure you sign. (They put us ahead when we signed ours.) Parking in the lot in the evening sucks. But you can find a spot. It will just be pretty far away. I don't see dog poop that much, but I don't stroll the grounds too often and we don't have too many dogs in our building. (Building 70--get in here. It's quiet!) We would probably stay for another year, but they are raising our rent by over $200 dollars, and we are trying to save for a house. As for noise, we hear kids playing outside sometimes. We can hear our upstairs neighbors walking around from time to time, but nothing uncomfortable. We can hear our next door neighbors water pipes sometimes. Every unit is a corner unit, so it's not too bad. Our across the hall neighbor is great. They don't park in their garage so they let us park in front of it when we are loading/unloading the car. And we always say hi and chat with them when we see them. I am only ten-fifteen minutes away from my job in the Silicon Valley. The 87 freeway is so much better (for commuting) than it was when we moved in because most of the construction is finished. The staff has always been responsive to us. No problems there. (We haven't had to deal with Kathy ever, so no comment there.) If you need the gym facilities, this might not be the place for you. The machines are kind of old, but they work. And the weight machine was broken for a while too. But we have our own gym. Overall, I would definitely recommend living here. Like every apartment, there are good and bad aspects. And for our needs, the good FAR outweighed the bad.

Rents are up everywhere but a place that advertises "Luxury Apartment Living" shouldn't be run like a residential motel! The grounds are covered with dog droppings. The parking is a nightmare. The pool is disgusting and the grills in the pool area never work... EVEN ALL OF THAT could be forgiven, if there was a competent management staff. The problem is, no matter how many times you voice a complaint or vent your frustrations to them they take it as an attack and do N-O-T-H-I-N-G to help. That's why people write up here. To warn prospective renters to stay away because the best advertisement positive or negative is word of mouth. STAY AWAY... the review above does not speak for the majority.
