Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008

1. Rent way too high for the tiny apartment, and the way it is laid out does not work if you have a big screen TV (not flat panel LCD/Plasma a big screen)
2. There is NO assigned parking, if you want your own parking space you have to pay for it (75/month for carport 100/month for garage.
3. Because of the way the central heat/air is set up we could not use the heat and take a shower with hot water at the same time. I had to wake up early, turn off the heat, wait 20 minutes, then there would be hot water for showers. Otherwise, the water would turn ICE COLD in the middle of your showers!!!
4. I don't know if they were just elephants or what, but we lived on the third floor and it sounded like our downstairs neighbors lived above us they were so loud... When the earthquake happened last year we didn't even realize it was an earthquake because we thought it was just the neighbors!
5. The head maintenance man is a jerk. Our dishwasher was broken, I had tried everything (different soap, with jetdry, without jetdry, everything) so finally we had to call them for help. The guy had the nerve to ask my husband if I knew how to use a dishwasher!'!
6. The community manager only works 10a - 4p tuesday through friday, inconvenient much'
7. When we moved out we had the apt professionally cleaned, and the carpets professionally cleaned... They tried to charge us over $500 for cleaning and painting, and we had to submit our pictures and receipts to have them take the money off and change the amount owed.
8. When we asked what the lease renewal would be, they tried to raise the rent from $1875/month to $2425/month and we decided we could get a house and enjoy that much better.
9. Depending on apartment location, the lights from the dealership can be pretty obnoxious
10. Your garage can be opened by other people, they don't have enough frequencies for the whole complex.
11. Pet deposit of $250 per pet plus $25/month per pet (There is no way I would pay $500 50/month for my cats... not like they can earn the money!!!)
