SELFISH AND DISHONEST MANAGEMENT ! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/31/2003 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003   Place is OK. High traffic area being close to downtown. Wake up call every morning with the JET Engines at close by San Jose Airport, don't expect to get any sleep past 6.30 AM. Rent is very high, and don't expect them to offer the fair market rate for the area...management makes up their own fair market value when it comes time to renew lease. They are generally very uncooperative and do not work with you. Leasing agents are very rude. Maintanence staff are nice and very responsive. Read all the fine print on your lease. Water pressure in the showers suck. All in all, not a place I would recommend, I've lived at other avalon properties as well and they are all bad. I will NEVER live at an Avalon property again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
