Unfair backcharges when terminating lease From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/21/2001 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2001   The management has taken an unfair stand on backcharging for repairs that were not agreed on when the apartment was "checked out". After the walk-through and signing to the agreed charges for "touch up " and carpet cleaning. The management witheld an additional $750 for repairs to the vinyl floors. This damage was never noted on the check list nor was ever agreed to.
