Avalon On The Alameda

(BUMP) TERRIBLE Place to live, or even close to it. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/28/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   Any good reviews reguarding this Place............ ....were most likely made up by the management, or are probably by high-ups within the Avalon apartments. Let me be straight forward and get DOWN to the POINT here. THIS place is TERRIBLE!! (Management is Horrendous) -Do not answer phones -Are very, very lazy and do not look out for their tenants well being. -They will lie to cover their butt -Oh, did I mention they DO NOT answer the phone in the office'' -Good for nothing Wannabe suits is what they are. Another issue is parking. The parking is horrid. It cannot be avoided, unless you want to park your car outside the INGATED living community. Which I (HIGHLY) do not suggest, unless you like things being STOLEN from your car. Burlaries are common on Julian street, but not only outside the (In-Gated) community but also inside as well. My roommate's car was burglarized which was parked inside the community in a garage. Things taken - 1 bottle of widshield wiper fluid, change in the cigarette ash tray, a few articles of clothing, a pair of expensive sun glasses, ALL cd's, and they decided they liked the Hula girl which was glued to the front dash board. Can you Believe that'' Either could I. Just anohter Sure Fire SIGN that our neighborly Crack-Heads like to stroll through the community late at night to look for easy targets. Not even in a garage is your car SAFE. WTF, how can that happen. It's obviously due to the neighborhood in which this property lies. I am scared to walk around at night because of this. Not only is the BACK AREA a minature GHETTO, but it's a skip and a hop right over the back gate. There you will find Sketchy people standing around loitering, looking like they are doing drug deals. There has also been NUMEROUS burglaries and car thefts. Not only is this place not worth the money, with it's poor location, terrible management, and Ludacris parking situation, this place should be WAY WAY WAY CHEAPER. They have Over-inflated RATES, and did I mention they don't answer the phones in the office' Do yourself a favor and AVOID all Avalon Properties!! ESPECIALLY "Alvalon on the Alameda" Unless you like having to pay money for no reason, over inflated rates and enjoy the noises of airplanes, DOGS BARKING(at all hours) even 6 AM and other misc. noises at all hours of the day/night. Also, if you like Unfriendly, LAZY, Liars for your apartment managers then this place is PERFECT for you. THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE!
