Avalon On The Alameda

Apartments are nice but company is horrible From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008   We lived in this complex for over 3 years. We loved it until it was time to renew our lease every year. They increased not only our rent (which is to be expected) but increased our parking spot and our storage unit. This last lease they tried to tell us we would be paying $700 more than last years lease!!! We had to move out along with many other tenants living in the complex. Even the leasing agent said that Avalon Corp. must be crazy. She went on to say that the longer you stay the more they raise your rent because you are less likley to move out once you live there a while. I'm not stupid, I know rent goes up but I asked around and no place raises rent as much as Avalon properties!
