Be extra careful of your car and others

We moved from The Woods. Things that never happened to us there , it happened in this so-called gated community.
We kept some flower pots outside and one of them got stolen in about 3 weeks.
Then around a month later..worst thing happened. We kept our car in the garage. Someone broke the glass and stole the card CD players and CDs.
Besides calling the Police, we also went to talk to apartment manager. Because, I didnot see any walk-in security after we moved in.
All we saw is car-driven security.However,the manager was not much happy to hear this and seems to me, why are we bothering them for our personal issue. Also, we mentioned they cannot do more than they are doing now cause its not possible to increase security for this single incident.Well, it was a single incident sonsidering 400 apts, but for us, we had to deal with the pain.
This was very disappointing...
