We lived in a 1 bdr on the "new" side of the complex (both sides were built in the late 90s, though). The pools are nice, it's a gated community. I've always felt safe here. Because we're so FAR SOUTH on 87, the rent is a good deal. We paid $1115 a month for 800 sq foot apt. We had ants all over the apt during our second or third month. we were told that the exterminators came WEEKLY and we'd have to wait until that day, when they would spray or something like that. whatever it was, my husband thought it was a bad idea with our health and our cat, so we tried to get rid of them ourselves. they came back twice and in force (all over the bathroom and kitchen walls), but eventually we won. That was horrible, but otherwise, the apts and the complex are very nice. they're so new, too, that everything is clean. Parking is find on our side of the complex, too. one of us gets the carport, the other has to park in the visitor spots or on the street, but street parking is fine. we've never had issues with vandalism or theft. The staff is OK - not amazing. We have heard that we wont' get our deposits back, we paid $750 for the cat deposit and $500 for our deposit. we'll find out next month.
