Overall not bad... From: chok@hotmail.com Date posted: 8/30/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   I stayed here for 2 1/2 years...I lived in the first phase on the 3rd floor. I moved because I couldn't take the heat anymore!!! The icebox in the living room barely cools off the front room especially w/ the high cathedral/vaulted ceilings. There are no elevators, which proves to be troublesome when moving. The parking lots are very noisy as people sometimes liek to "hang out" there. Try to get an apaprtment away from the carports and courtyards, if uou want peace & quiet!! Yes, ants were a BIG problem. But, after they sent someone out for the 3rd time, we had no more issues. Anthony (the head of maintenanace) is GREAT! If it weren't for him we would've probably move a looong time ago! I never had any issues with my car getting broken in. However, parking is VERY bad---good luck after 7pm and on weekends!!!! My roommate and I were forced to rent an extra garage ($100 extra a month). On the other hand, we did have several friends have their cars get broken into/vandalized whenthey parked on the surrounding street Sandpebble. Additioanlly, the community manager, Tim Lewis, is unpersonable & never spoke to me once while I lived here. You can always find him in his office conveniently on the phone when you walk into the office and need help. I have even walked in & asked for his assistance & he never acknowledged me! Overall oiur stay was ok...once u get over the numerous pigeons on the 3rd floor. (Lord knows I do not miss them waking me up at 5am every morning!!!).stairwells, sidewalks, and grass areas)..also, recently they have allowed pets, so you will find many places where owners are not cleaning up after their pets properly (ie the sat...contrary to many reviews we did get most of our deposit back! David is an excellent leasing consultant...so if u do decide to reside here...look for the red-headed young man...! = )
