I agree with what most people are saying, you are stepping into a second hand car store selling lemons to you. They are good at sales and promising you. BUT NONE GETS DONE.
The carpet is filthy, oven(was not working before we moved in)took a month for them to repair. and they would lie to you about pymt through credit card does not access a fee and things like that. Of course it would be too late once you get charged!!!And even though u made pymt on time and they take the $$ out of your checking account a few days ago before the deadline, they will still say no payment rec and paste notice on your door with your name to say pymt is late and you'll have to move out''!! when you are without pets, they will give you letter about there's dog in your aparment for additional $700 deposit' when the fact is you havent even moved in yet. This just seems fishy and scheming.
The list just goes on. It makes me sick to come home almost. The apartment is okay, with occasional noise and every move you make would make the apartment shake a little. So I can feel the ground shaking whenever someone comes up the stairs. ( this is a 3 level building). Not sure if it's because I am on the corner unit.
Before you move in, it's all smiles from the staff. Once you move in, it's all frowns whenever you need something done or something corrected.
I will be so glad once the lease is over. I have perfect credit,so I dont want to ruin it by not carrying out the lease but this is a misery to live in. My wife even had nightmare of maint staff comes in without consent. It happened once before.
I dont know about other avalons. But I would not put wife through this again. This is just a hell hole for living because the staff makes it so difficult.

I agree completely with you....this place has alot of hidden charges. I reside on the 2nd floor. They're tenants all around me with babies, crying at all times of the day & night. Do I ever complain? No...but the office called not to long ago and said that the tenants around me said my car alarm went off during the night. I only have a car alarm because my radio was stolen while I was parked in the covered garage one night.
I too, am not a satisfied customer of Avalon. My year lease is up and they still are being "butt heads" about us leaving. They want to inspect the apt. 1 week before we are leaving....

I find this hard to believe and have nothing but a good experience here at Rosewalk. I have been a tenant for 3 years. I am moving though due to the rent just being raised to high.

I agree. They adjusted my rent, so I moved on. My husband couldn't be there for final-move-out and we contacted them several times to get an answer on the charges. The maint. manager inspected alone without waiting on us and then informed us that he had to REPLACE the carpets. He said "pet-urine stains" but we have no pets....so we thought everything was okay until without warning they sent a letter in the mail through a collection agency stating that we now OWED 895.01---I called again several times and nobody has gotten back to me. In my opinion we owe nothing more than part of our security deposit. They know they're wrong and I'm putting some action to this---its not right.
