I moved into this complex last year. According to the management they gave me move-in special, which was already quite high. Now they have increased the rent by 10 (9.95%)%, which is not even legal. Legal maximum limit is 8%. I cannot understand when they already have couple of units waiting to be rented-out, how can they force (by means of rent) people to move out and create even more apartment on the list. Apart from the management issue, security and parking is a big issue. There are not enough parking spaces and few weeks back, there was a burglary in the complex.

I am moving out soon....cannot wait.

It's true about the Management - just wait till you move out - We didn't get our entire deposit back - I think we got 297.00 back - they charge you for every little thing, from a burnt out light bulb, to a dead battery in the smoke detector, to normal wear and tear - every little thing you will get charged for.

My friend, they can raise the rent how they like. They are not subsidized or under the control of fair housing which the max is the 8%. Also there are break inns at every complex and every neighborhood so what's new. Yes the rent is too high so I moved out. Things are tough all over. I lived there 3.4 years and the management is great if your a frendly and sane person do deal with. Then the'll be right there to do what they can for you. I got most of my deposit back because I took care of the property I rented. Nuff said, it's one of the better places to live actually and I've moved around alot.
