True, the construction was rushed, and I still have issues that need addressing. Overall the place is nice, but to call the residents "lower class" is truly ignorant. One stroll thru the parking garage, and you'd think you walked into the warehouse for a luxury car dealer. The noise and disturbances you do hear come from people parking on the street when events take place at the San Jose Arena a few blocks away. Yes, I'll admit that is a problem. If you live facing any of the surrounding streets, you will hear "concert goers" and "Sharks fan" who opt out of paying ridiculous parking prices for free spaces available on the neighboring streets. As far as the safety of the neighborhood, let's just say you'll probly see more homeless walking around these deserted streets than anyone else. How secure you feel depends on your self confidence. You want a social scene, go a 1/4 mile down the street to Avalon on the Alameda. There is SO much more to do down there, although I cannot vouch for the residences. I am at the Avalon at Cahill Park for the loft, and it is one of the best lofts you'll find in the South Bay (admittedly, there are FEW loft choices in the South Bay).
