not bad but watch out for the parking

After almost 2 years i am moving out of a 3bd room apartment. Overall its not a bad place. The building etc. is pretty good for the what you pay for especially if you want something gated.
The major annoyance though is the parking. since we had 3 people to one assigned underground parking spot, this got very annoying. It wouldn't be so bad if the management had setup the permit parking like the other side of Bird st. Of course they have been promising to do this for about 2 years now. Also i have had my car towed by management during a sharks game. All three roommates also got a parking ticket when i think the management asked the SJPD to ticket along bird and bush st. for minor parking violations (i was 3 inches too far away from curb). They have since quit the parking ticketing probably becuase they got a few too many false positives (ticketing/towing residents). Its not too bad during the off season, but watch out when there is a game. Street parking is truly a nightmare.
Also it should be noted that this is not really a downtown location, if you are moving here expecting walking distance from SJ shops/resturaunts think again.
