It's not bad

I have lived here for 2 years, and it's not that bad. I'm not sure, though, that it's worth the rent that they are charging now. I'm moving to be closer to work.
I've always felt safe in the parking lot/around the complex and have never really worried that someone was going to break into my car or apartment.
The maintenance staff is great and has always responded to and fixed my maintenance prolems within one day. It helps that I don't have a problem with them going into my apartment when I'm not home. I've lived other places where I allowed that and could tell the staff went into rooms other than where the problem was. This has not happened here.
I haven't noticed much street noise/freeway noise. I'm on the blossom hill side of the complex. I rarely hear my neighbors - I'm on the second floor. I will occasionally hear a washing machine off balance or someone opening the bedroom closet, but that's it. I do have a noisy rain water pipe outside my bedroom window, but have found that ear plugs block out the noise.
There is a washing machine/dryer in each apartment. Yes, it's a small washer. But to me, a small washer is better than no washer!
I don't deal with the office staff that often, but they had a changeover last year and have improved.
I don't know how much my rent would have gone up for next year as they didn't bother to let me know. I wasn't proactive about it though, since I knew I was moving out.
You do have to have renters insurance - it's part of the lease agreement. It's a hassle, but good to have.
