Don't Rent from Avalon at River Oaks From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/20/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   The Staff and overall townhouse is run down and the Staff will retailiate if you complain about something wrong. The town homes it self are so run down that after living there a year we decided to move, upon move out we were told that we had to pay for new carpeting when in fact the carpet was over 10 years old, hey if the carpet was new when we moved in I have no problem paying for something but the carpet was old, the stove and counters were already scratched up we moved here from Hawaii and needed a place in a hurry, don't make the same mistake we did.
