DO NOT RENT FROM BLOSSOM OAKS!!!!

Remember: what you see is not always what you get. The outside of this complex looks nice ... but the apartments themselves are not in good shape and the management is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am very upset with the management from this apartment complex. Why' Well...I could go on and on. If you have awhile...here are just a few of the reasons why:

I wish I had acted on my instincts when I first entered this rental office. There was a resident in an intense argument with one of the managers...from what I had heard...the tenant did not seem at fault. Anyway,I was desperate for a place to live close to work and when the manager finally started talking to me she put on this VERY splendid act. After that rental agreement was signed and we had the keys...it was like a total change in their attitude. I had never rented in CA before. But, I have rented MANY other places and have NEVER had the type of treatment I received here.

Management is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! They do not care one bit about the tenants. All they care about is upholding their so-called "laws". Be careful what you do outside of your apartment. One of these managers will most certainly find a reason to yell at you. If you go in one of the pools you had BETTER have your pool pass tattooed on your forehead. One of these RUDE women will stop by at least every half-hour to ask you what you are doing there and demand to see your pool pass. (even if she JUST ASKED YOU)

The laundry rooms are average. But we stopped doing laundry here after we were yelled at by one of these "managers". I guess that for the longest time they never locked the laundry rooms. We noticed that most people would do their laundry late. Thinking it must not really be a problem we were just moving our laundry from the washer to dryer at 9:30pm when one of the "managers" rudely came in and told us that we should know enough to read the signs and be finished by now. I was calm and remained nice. She rudely told us to get our laundry out of there and come back tomorrow. We were out $6.00 from the machines...that was the last time I ever used that place.

It is the strangest thing...come 10:00 this one woman is out prowling around the complex just LOOKING for people to yell at. I have never lived in an apartment with management like that. Oh and...did I mention she has pets'' 2 dogs in fact...she is always out walking them while she looks for people to yell at.

The work out room is a joke. If you like to work out then especially do not live here. The equipment is very cheap and most people probably have much better stuff at home.

I wish we had seen the apartment before we moved in (I know...our fault). It was very dirty. The bathroom and kitchen were the worst. The mildew soaked through the caulking in about 3 weeks.

Oh, and the place has plenty of lead paint and asbestos in the apartments for everyone who enjoys that...

I was so happy the day my lease ended ... but what a suprise ... yet another problem. It seems my roommate and I did not read the wording of the lease closely enough when we got home. There was a note left on our door (even though we were INSIDE AT THE TIME...why didn't they just knock'') stating that we had to pay our rent AND a late charge of $50 or else a poor rating would be sent to our credit reports. Now I had actually read the lease a few times...so I thought. My understanding was that our lease was up on the specific date decided upon...end of story. Well...it turns out that everyone has to give a 30 day notice regardless of whether or not it is a month to month lease OR a set lease. When we went to the management office to try to settle this (they werent even there of course) we had to wait outside for awhile. Finally they came back and before we even had a chance to say a word they were being RUDDER than I thought possible. These people truly believe they are gods. I was in tears from their treatment. I was so upset and shaking that I could not even fight back...what could I say' I knew there was nothing I could really do. So I just took it from them...THEN the one woman VERY rudely told me that this has never happened before and she couldnt believe we werent thinking enough to read through the lease. hmmm...then I thought back to the first day I came into the office. Too bad someone didnt come in to witness how they were treating my roommate and I that day.

Needless to say...we had to pay an extra month of rent AND a late fee.

Another thing...for anyone stating that the only people who don't like living here...are the ones that don't like the rules and want to party. Hmmmm....that's odd. I seem to remember that I work very long days at a stressful job that actually takes intelligence. I WANT to live in a place that is quiet, secure, clean, etc...ALL THAT! I do NOT want to live by people who party. Actually, all my neighbors were really nice. I never had a problem with them...JUST MANAGEMENT!

I know this is long ... but if this stops anyone from renting from this place then at least I have done SOMETHING against them for their rude treatment. The only satisfaction I do have is knowing that the jobs those people have are probably the BEST things they can get.
