I also wrote the review dated 11/20/02. Since then I have a new problem. The neighbor who moved in below me is a chronic smoker. He's not breaking any rules as it is permitted to smoke within your apartment, and even outside your apartment. However, the smoke somehow makes its way through his ceiling/my floor and through the bathroom vents. Now every moment I spend in my apartment I have to deal with second hand smoke. My girlfriend has asthma and is seriously affected by this. The manager said he'd check the vent to make sure it's not clogged, and even ask the downstairs tenant to change some of his habits. Bottom line is, I think no matter where he smokes in his apartment, the smoke is going to find its way into mine. My towels in the bathroom all smell like smoke, as do my clothes. My quality of life has gone down significantly, and I have to move.
