Kiss Your Deposit Goodbye . . From: shaupoo@hotmail.com Date posted: 7/24/2002 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2002 1 response   Very sub-standard in terms of Bay Area apartmens. We moved in because it was the only thing available at the time ( during the boom days ). When we moved in, we were told that the security deposit was a "damage deposit" not a cleaning deposit. After we moved I spent 11 hours cleaning everything top to bottom. When we received our deposit back, they held out money for damage to the walls that never happened. I even filled all nail holes prior to leaving. They just made it up something to pay for painting that needed to be done anyway. Recomendation - look elsewhere
