I was very happy during my stay at Brookdale. The managers were really great and always stayed on top of things - e.g., maintenance, parking, etc. The property was really clean and quiet and the other tenants friendly.
My opinion of the management company however has changed since I moved out. I received a bill for hundreds of dollars for cleaning and repairs that I know were unnecessary. I have never not received my security deposit back and always leave an apartment in the exact same condition that it was when I moved in (except for the obvious footprint that any tenant leaves on a place). For this reason I would never rent from the management company again. I would however be happy to be a tenant at any property managed by the current on site managers.

this management is very famous for taking all your deposit and ask you to pay extra

They took my deposit of $400 and also charged me over $1100. Unbelievable. If anyone else out there had this experience, what did you end up doing? Dispute it or pay it?
