Casa Verde Apartments

this place sucks.. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response   Worst area/apartment building I have ever lived in. I guess it all comes down to managing expectations which Maggie in the front office completely neglected. I told her I was looking for a quiet and nice area of town which McKee Road is definitely not. There is a hospital next door so you will be woken up at 1 AM by sirens and Vietnam like helicopter sounds. Parking will be a nightmare because no one enforces rules (cars are constantly parked in my spot and behind me). I was told there is convienent shopping nearby which is a total lie. There isn't a grocery store within miles unless you do your shopping at "Chavez Market" or you are looking to eat dried fish heads. You will also have to endure 10-20 kids at the pool all day making constant noise and brushing up on their non-english skills. However there are always gentlemen carting around burrito carts and ice cream so I guess you'll never go hungry.
