From: madrenter52 Date posted: 7/26/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   This apartment complex is run by the most obnoxious, unprofessionable manager. I rented a studio for my daughter that was attending SJSU. We only needed a 4 month lease, so we had to pay more for a studio because the manager said corporate only does 6 months lease and 1 year. I paid a cleaning deposit of $500. We rented from Feb 15 to June 15. June's rent was prorated for half of the month. When we moved my daughter out on the 15th the manager said that the studio was cleaner than when we moved in. He then said that our deposit would be mailed within 21 days. I just found out from the office that not only will I not be getting my deposit but that corporate was billing us for moving out 2 weeks early. I said that the manager made the deal that we could lease from feb 15 to June 15. Corporate office says that they don't know what kind of deals this manager makes but that they do not end leases in the middle of the month. There is never anyone in the office to help. My daughter's car was broken into in the garage on a Saturday night. The video for the garage rerecords every 24 hours, no one was in the office on Sunday, so there was no tape of the incident.
