Of course Tanya is nice to you. She wants your money. Shes not going to yell at you for taking just enough money out of your student loan to pay rent and nothing else if your Caucasian. Considering how this apartment is built in front of San Jose State, this place will be housing mostly college students who is trying to find a decently safe neighborhood to live in while finishing school. Bravo to the college students who couldn't make rent because they have the dignity to work full time, school part time, and not get help from their parents.
