Where shall we start' When we initailly moved in, we noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking and the upstairs bathroom toilet was constantly running. The faucet was looked at once by maintenance and never fixed. The toilet was looked at a couple of times, they said they were going to order a part, and never came back to fix it. After a couple of months, the washing machine began to leak. After numerous calls, it still was not fixed. The turning point in getting a replacement washer was the leak started to go into the unit below us. They found this leak only when prospective tenants noticed it when doing a walk through.
My complaints continue..the complex is on a major street where it can take five minutes to pull out of the complex after 6 in the evening. The noise level is ridiculous. If you want any privacy, go outisde. The walls are paper thin and you can hear peoples conversations. The "security gate" is always open and never works. We lived there for a year, and our remote for the gate nver worked despite how many times we had it "re-programmed" by the front office.
Oh, and the management. Bottom line, it's the worst. The first manager we had was a bit of a bonehead but if he was pushed and prodded for things to get done, it would get done. Then they went through management changes. They still suck. You can call the leasing office and half the time they won't answer. We've been in there personally when the phones would be ringing and no one would bother to pick it up. I kid you not, they would just stare at the phones. The management thinks they're running a high class complex and they're obviously not. You can try and try to get things fixed or made better for your sake but they just won't do it. Yet, one day I see the one of the front office people dusting the outside mailboxes..COME ON!
Live there at your own risk, but I'm telling you, it was the worst year of my life and just by writing this got my blood pressure rising.
