Don't get fooled by the Avalon name tag From: back2grave Date posted: 4/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I lived in this community for an year before I moved out, which was ironically the best day in this place. I experienced similar issues which a lot of reviewers grieved about. The buildings are old and there has absolutely no effort for renovation. The furnitures are old and rusty, carperts are spotted, counter tops are scratched, AC is noisy, heater doesn't work and the list goes on. There are people in the neighbourhood who have li'l respect for others privacy.I stayed in Victoria Landing,there's a white trash family who makes sure that u are living in a hell with their shouting, cursing, loud music and so on. Anyone who has been in the street will surely second my opinion. My 2 cents, don't get fooled by the Avalon tag, make ur call based on the apt u r getting allocated and not the model one. And there r better apts around when u r planning to spend $1700 on a 2 bed.
