Yo!

this place is declining...

We moved in in 2004. It took 2 years for things that were promised to us in our lease agreement to be completed. We have seen more property managers and leasing agents than we should (we are on the 5th Property Manager and I have lost count on the leasing consultants)They decided to do all the construction at once so we had holes cut into our drywall (not covered when they left our apt, and we have a 5 yr old), the roof was being worked on, and they wanted us to empty our balcony so they could work on that. They were not willing to work around my schedule as I was working nights for those 2 weeks, and did not follow my request that they only enter our apt when someone was home. I had guys walking into my bedroom while I was asleep, even after the 1st occurance and I made it clear that was not acceptable.

The Property Manager, Jannice Lam, is about as competent to do her job as an ape. She is the only thing that has remained unchanged in the 4 years we have been here. She will listen to a concern or complaint and 10 minutes later she will act as if she never spoke with you. She is rude, as is her staff. If she decides she doesnt like you, forget about getting anything done in your apt on time, we signed a new lease in January, and were promised a carpet shampooing....it is May and I went to inquire about it, for the 3rd time, and she said it was not in our leasing papers....

When we moved in, it was a decent place to live and affordable...thanks to rent control, it is still affordable for us, in 4 years our rent has only gone up $245. I dont recommend living here long term, but if you need a decent place to live for a few months, its alright. Parking is a pain with 2 cars, and the crime inside the complex (at least on my side) is very minimal.
