Much nicer than I thought.

Apparently some former tenants have issues they need to work out(see previous review). And if this is such a horrible place to live, why did it take them 5 years to move'! Sounds a bit personal to me .
I moved into Deodar at the height of the market because of the location and size of the units, and chose to stay because the management is always on top of any maintenance issues and my rental rate has been lowered to reflect the current market.
As far as nickel and diming people, this is the only complex I looked at which did NOT charge for credit checks-that made me feel like they would definitely not quibble over a few dollars.
Quality of life is great, with a beautiful pool area, large bedrooms and units in general, and enough parking for both of my cars. The lights and faucets in my unit were either brand new or close to it when I moved in, and the unit was near immaculate (although itýs quite lived in now).
As far as comfort goes, it definitely gets hot upstairs when the temperature is in the 90ýs , and it would be nice if I had my own washer and dryer (there is a shared laundry room on site). Those are my only complaints, which seem fairly minor considering I can walk to dinner and to rent a movie, be on the highway in 5 minutes and live in a large, clean unit with a responsive on site manager.
