Deodar Apartments

Large, well located, everything else negative... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/1/2002 Years at this apartment: 1997 - 2002   Deodar apartments, has one thing going for it, location. It is easily accessable to freeways, and Willow GLen is very nice. However, this complex is old, and not well kept up. Be careful to comb thru the apartment, both for cleanliness when moving in, and even the tiniest of flaws. Managment will take 150$ for cleaning, no matter what, manager stated he only returned that money once in his 3 years. They nickel and dime, knowing people will not contest the deposit. The places are in desperate need of refurnishing. They have very old linoleoum floors, and many of the original fixtures, sockets, knobs etc. The apartments, get little to NO light, so be aware. The apartments are halfway project style, so look around as there are bargains. We found a house 200$ less than rent here. The apartments are fairly large. There is no airconditioning, and teh upstairs are usually unbearable during summer, even with all windows down. Managment is personable, but be aware, things get down to money, and the landlord really just wants to squeze as much money as he can out of the apartments.
