These apartments are old. They've had a face lift but they are old. Theres a mold problem in most of the units that is always painted over when new tenants move in. The maintenance is provided by a two man crew for over 200 units, which means you could wait a while before your request is complete or you would have to make a request more than once.
The phone lines are old, today phone lines have 4 wires, these only have 3. If you had to add an additional phone line into your unit it would have to be re-wired causing you to pay more money.
Cable sucks. The line is in there but theres not enough drops to support the amount of people with cable. Thereby you will lose your cable periodically when the Comcast Service Technician is called out to fix someone else's cable and disconnects yours. If you're not home, it won't be until late before you notice and you have to call set up an appointment, wait all day to get another service technician out to reconnect you.
They do not supply Air Conditioning in these apartments, if you have it its because the person before you left theirs. The insulation is bad too. In summer its burning up in winter its freezing.
They just started to assist with unruly and inconsiderate neighbors, but for the longest time it was Hell on Earth. We were supposed to have security, don't know if we still do and if so who they are.
They've increased the rent, but not the quality of the apartment.
I'm not sure I would recommend Driftwood Apartments.
