I have only lived at Elan for about 6 months or so, and so far I am happy with my decision. There are a lot of improvements like painting and apartment construction going on, so there are a lot of people all over but it only is during business hours so by the time I get home, it's quiet (except they are here on Saturdays too, which sucks a bit). I moved in know about the improvements, so I am not going to ----- about it like the silly others on this site. I really love the inside of my apartment, it's like a condo. I'm on the top floor so no noise from neighbors. My only interaction w/ the office staff has been at move-in and when I have gone to the office a few times and I've had a pleasant experience each time. One time my screen fell off and maintenance replaced it the same day I told them, so what more can I expect' Last month, I went to my 1st resident event. It was so much fun, they had a wine tasting and I totally met some cool neighbors and the manager, who was the hostess, was super helpful. I hope there are more fun events this summer, I'd like to take my friends from work. I think I'm paying a reasonable amount for the nice apartment and cool events... believe me, I looked at like 6 places in the neighborhood and Elan was the best price for the size of apartment I needed.
