I have just received a rent increase of $145 a little high. So I have been looking around and to my surprise I can not find anything better than The Esplanade. I work out of my home 50% of the week. I have a two bedroom townhome that offers a large loft and this where I work from, UPS deliveries have been no problem, and when I am out my packages are left at the office. When my friends come to visit they are impressed with my surrounds, and my home. I have never had a problem with the management or anyone in entire team. The fact is a am happy and although I hate to pay the increase I think I will

Author...Then you are not looking in the right areas!! I work from home and in the 2 bedroom The Esplanade offers. I have found plenty of other places including HOMES to rent for less. You just have to keep looking. Don't accept the rent increase...you can do MUCH better. Get out while you can!!

Trust me I've rented from houses, I've had more problems going that route than with management companies. I can afford my increase and it's absolutley worth it to me, so thanks for the suggestion but I'm staying here.

I think the bottom line is that everyone should look carefully in anything they rent. I don't think you should rely on the Esplanade's "good looks" for your decision in renting or staying for that matter.
