Good, but with problems.

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
The good:
- Apartment has LOTS of sun. Great balcony
- Well-behaving appliances in apt and laundry room.
- Friendly-enough staff.
- Great landscaping.
- Nice neighboors; great place for a family.
- DSL is available
- Allow cats.
- COMPLETELY quiet at night.
- Very close to various shopping options I-280 and Rt. 17.
- Great maintainence folk.
The bad:
- Aweful speed-bumps that you dread every day.
- Electric heat which costs a fortune.
- Charge $20/month plus $600 security for an indoor cat.
- "Security" gate is annoying and ineffective.
- Parking spots are tiny (adequate though).
The ugly:
- They didn't tell me about $30/month for garbage removal until AFTER I signed the lease.
- They killed me on cleaning charges when I moved out, much more than was appropriate or standard.
- My downstairs neighbor was paying $500/month more than me for the same apartment.
