When I first moved in the price was great. The manager was on top of things and maintenace was done promptly. I had only two complaints before moving out. One was the noise from the freeway, you could hear police cars and accidents in the middle of the night. Second was the parking, there was only one assigned spot and a few visitor parkings. If i wasn't home before 5pm I didn't get a spot. The problems came up when I was moving out. The manager left and a new guy showed up, then he disapeared and these people started rotating from the main office. The managers were switched so often no one knew what was going on in the complex. They didn't even know I was moving out. For the longest time they wouldn't give me back my whole deposit because they claimed i didn't give proper notice but the real reason was they had lost the paper work. Luckily i made copies when I first put in my 30 days notice. Then they were late on giving me back my deposit. They claimed it was because of the constant employee switch. I told them I was taking them to court for violating California laws that required them to give me back my deposit within two weeks. Suddenly, the check was in the mail and everything was sorted out. It was really upsetting that I had to threaten them with court before they finally did their job.
