Jada the manager is nice, but Kirsti, asst manager, is exceptionally sweet and nice. When I had financial problems they understood and gave me a chance to make things right. I owe them both. There are not too many complexes you can say that about.
It is relatively quiet most of the time. If you keep your windows shut I never hear a thing. The walls are thick or the insulation very good.
The grounds are manicured every week on Thursdays.
They have 4 laundry facilities with all new washer and dryers.
There are lots of wildlife and the trees are large and pretty.
They do allow cats. The one bedroom apt is cute and very large at 825 sq ft. The layout is great.
I have to say I've been very happy.
NOTE: I viewed the model and confirmed my one bedroom would look the same. i got my keys and it did not. You need to request the crown molding and taupe paint. It is $35/mo extra per month. After I moved in it was to much work for me to do it. I was so sad. It was one of the biggest selling points. Definately get the crown molding - it makes it more modern.
My only negative is the puddles that gather in the walkways when it rains. The trees have made the cement shift. I wear heels everyday and have to walk through several inches of water to get to my car. I have tried many different routes, but every route has a puddle along the way. Next year I'll find a solution...maybe rubber boots until I get to the car.
As for parking.... I have been fine, because I have one vehicle. If I have a visitor, I park on the street and let my guest park in my spot. It seems to work out well.
During the construction the noise level has been minimal and we have been kep apprised of all actions and downtimes for water and electricity and so forth.
I really think they are trying hard to make us all happy. Let's face it, sometimes you can't make some people happy no matter what you do.
