PROS:
Nice landscaping and amenities
Large windows provide a lot of light
New buildings/appliances
Safe to walk around at any time (reality is that other types of crime occur)

CONS:
When something breaks, don't count on it getting fixed.
It can be problems as small as the business center printer&fax being out of ink to bigger things such as faulty windows that don't remain open, a non-functioning garage entry, broken elevators, hallway alarm malfunctions in the middle of the night, and massive gas leaks.

Dealing with management has been sore point in our time here. Some of the maintenance individuals have been great and better than dealing with management but unfortunately complaints get routed through the management staff. I should mention that the maintenance supervisor at the time suggested that I "crack open a few windows and light a match near the stove" to look for the potential source of the gas leak (to which he refused to believe existed -- we called PG&E to get things done right).

FYI, there is a lot of construction going on still -- lots of big trucks get right of way.

Needless to say, this is also an apartment where neighbors and lack of community can also make or break your experience.
