I mostly love it here at the Laurels. So really I should have no complaint. But ever since moving here (from the Redwoods) I have had to deal with the upstairs neighbors excessive noise. This has been going on for months and I have still been unable to get them to quiet down after 10. My younger brother and sister don't seem to mind but when youre like me and have to be up for work at 5am, it makes life hard. like some others here I emailed the manager and even called the police about it. No one can seem to do anything about it. Aside from the constant thumping and crashing at all hours above me I think The Laurels is no different than any of the other apartments at Northpark.

Even as I type this . . .(thump thump thump). Its like they're dropping weights on the floor. How they can possibly not know that this could bother me is hard to comprehend. I even sent a complaint because they were bouncing aball one night rattling everything in my kitchen.

The positive side is the nice people and families around here. Lots of shopping nearby. Management has always been nice to me. Parking is so so, but I expect that in The Bay Area. I would recommend to anyone, just make sure you live on the top floor. = )
