Nice find!

I am currently living here in a two-bedroom, townhouse/apartment. We are the first occupants of this apartment, and everything is top-notch! I live here with three other students, and we are able to manage fine. The insulation (windows/walls) is very good. The double paned windows help block out all outside noise, especially the aircraft that are landing at SJ Airport. We never hear our neighbors, and they never hear us--even with all our electric guitars, electric keyboard, and super-crazy sound system. My neighbor has a similarly super-powered home theatre system adjecent to my bedroom, but I have never heard it once! I play DDR and nobody complains about the stomping because this is, after all a townhouse, and the vibrations do not travel through the walls. Between floors, we could hear one another, but this is no big deal since I could just tell my roomates to shut up. We had these annoying cheapo flourescent lights, but we got them replaced right away (the maintenance is very timely). We have a two-car garage, whos square footage is not calculated into the apartment square footage, so we have a lot of FREE storage space for the crap we never use. Speaking of storage, there is a lot of room all around our apartment to store useless crap. The office staff is very nice and helpful, despite the noteriety of my roomates and I...they even know us by our first names :) We are right outside of Downtown San Jose (walking distance) and exactly one mile away from SJState, with a bus line the runs by our apartment. The location outside of our apartment is a bit run-down, but quiet. We got a big-time hookup with concessions, thanks to my superb negotiating skills. There's a hot tub, but I don't know why they don't put a pool in the big, useless lawn area. I recommend this place without reservation. The only thing is that the carpeting is on the cheap side, and there are small cracks in the wall due to the settling of the foundation. Oh well.
