My girlfriend and I moved in here about 1 year ago with the hopes that we would enjoy all the nice things downtown had to offer. After all, the apartments seemed nice, we have a nice view of the downtown skyline which lights up at nighttime, and there is a lot of new development immediately surrounding the area. Everything was ok, until they hired this insane woman to run this place. She has single-handedly ruined our entire experience living here. She has got to be the worst person I could possibly imagine for the job, and I would like to meet the person that hired her so I can slap her. This woman is a complete monster. In fact, myself and several of my friends that live here have a theoy-she must not be human. My experiences with her can be summmed up by her as follows, she tried to enter my apartment with no notice to enter while I was home and told me she was going to go back downstairs to get a key and proceeded to tell me she was going to call the police on me if I didn't let her in. That is illegal-in fact it is commonly referred to as breaking and entering when you do not put a 24 hour notice of entry on the door.
Well, enough about her. The neighborhood sucks, and I think every car in my building has now been broken into. My passenger seat in my car was stolen, for pete's sake. Who would steal a seat!'' Two people's homes have been robbed. In each case everything was stolen. Just ask the maintenance person-his house was one of them. He went on vacation and the GOODWILL company made an unexpected visit to collect some "donations". The person in the office at the time released the key to them for the home pick up. When he came back from vacation, his entire house was empty. If you think my experience is unique, think again. There are so many dissatisfied residents, that we are contemplating sending a petition around, then sending it to 7 on your side, CA fair housing board, project sentinal, and, of course, HUD. The should have some fun with that. So, if you're thinking about moving here, don't. It is a waste of your time, money, and let's face it, you will never get those 12 months back.

I have read a lot of response on the poor management. I also read on their website that if a problem is not addressed within 24 hours that they would deduct one day's rent from your next rent payment. Any comments on this?
Also, I checked the facilities and all looks clean. Is this a facade? Oh, by the way regarding the theft, has anyone living in a two-car garage unit experienced any problems?

did you ever sign a petition? seriously, the Property management's website boasts receiving all kinds of awards...? they should know what is happening to their "award winning" property.
