Be on top of your lease. When it comes time for renewal, be on time with filling out your application and getting all the neccesary/relevant information to get certified again, and don't let the Apartment manager get your very important lease to you LATE!!!! She has been known to finally write your lease 3 months after it had expired.Advocate for yourself and your other tenants. The lease protects you, be wise.
