A great place for singles

I've lived at Miraido Village for about 1 1/2 years and just recently moved back in after being away for 5 months.
The first unit I lived in was right along the front main street on the ground level. I didn't find the noise from the street at all distracting. The only annoyance was on trash day when the trucks came around at 5am in the morning.
My new place is also a 1bed 1bath, but smaller and located towards the center of the complex. Very peaceful and even though it is right next to the club house - the parties, karate classes, and even the drum practices across the street are not at all annoying.
The layouts of both apartments are nice. The maintenance staff is friendly and helpful. The management - old and new - are excellent.
And the location in Japan Town is extremely convenient. I can walk to get just about everything I need.
And I like the fact that you have a small town feel in which everyone knows everyone here, but yet you're only minutes from Big City Downtown.
