Look elsewhere. They are misleading, unprofessional and rude.

I stayed at the Monterey Apts. for 6 months. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a rental community. The parking situation is a joke. I was assigned a parking spot already occupied right off the bat and it took another month befor management could "find" another spot. The disposal, ceiling fan and much of the lighting went out within the first month. The pool was always dirty and not heated year-round as promised. When I confronted the manager Jerry about it, he said "someone lied to you," in a rude tone. Less than 24hrs notice was given to me when management had "environmentally friendy" lighting and shower heads installed. Forget about decent water pressure when showering. And forget about getting your deposit back anytime soon after you leave. It took them 2.5 months to finally return it to me with a limited explanation as to where half the deposit went. I left the apartment "in excellent condition" according to the last walkthrough but they had to perform $135 in "cleaning'" Cleaning what' Who knows. Save yourself the trouble.
